The Future
In the upcoming year, our goal is to hold the first annual Sing for Safety concert in the St. Louis area. The proceeds will be used to identify and/or create teen educational programs that focus on driving safety. We would also like to be able to fund the purchases of a Rollover Simulator, a Simulated Impaired Driving Experience (SIDNE) and impaired vision goggles. When educating students, these simulators would be used as hands on tools by the St. Louis County Police Department and local municipality police forces.
Unlike charities that are formed to find a cure for a disease, we will never find a cure for unsafe behavior. We can only hope to provide education that encourages teens to take greater safety precautions and realize the magnitude and power they posses when they get behind the wheel of a car. |
